Mrs. Laura Bell Abbott, age 88 of Chatsworth, passed away on August 29, 2022 at Gordon County Health & Rehabilitation.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Abbott was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Abbott; sons, Danny Ray Henry, George Allan Henry, and Lewis Hall Henry; daughter, Kathleen Fagans.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Tomas Clarence and Rita Henry of Chatsworth, William and Denise Henry of Oneida, TN, Mark Henry of Oneida, TN, and Dwayne and Kimberly Henry of Pioneer, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Mark Taylor of Chatsworth, Mary Helen Hayes of Tampa, FL, and Beverly Parks and Robert Purser of Ringgold, GA; 31 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; extended family also survives.

Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth have provided cremation services for Mrs. Laura Bell Abbott. No public services are planned at this time.
