Judy Lynn Bostic

Ms. Judy Lynn Bostic, age 78, of Eton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at her home.

Judy Bostic was a lifelong resident of Eton, Georgia, and a cherished friend to many. She was a member of Eton Friendship Church.

She was employed with Bob McEntire for over 50 years and proudly served on the Eton City Council for 34 years. Judy was also a lifelong member of Eton Methodist Church.

Known for her beautiful smile, Judy loved fashion, shopping, and Alabama football—Roll Tide! Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family and friends.

Judy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Jewel Bostic.

Survivors include her sister, Jane Tankersley of Eton, GA; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Dawn Bostic of Chatsworth; her nieces and nephews, Tim and Michelle Tankersley, Lisa and Brett Kicklighter, Don Bostic, Traci and Ben Rankin, and Morgan Bostic; great-nieces and great-nephews, Garrett Kicklighter, Drew Tankersley, Lauren Coram, and Maci Rankin; and her great great-nephew, James Clark Tankersley; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ms. Judy Lynn Bostic will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Gordon DeLashmitt officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Eton Friendship Church in memory of Ms. Judy (PO Box 442, Eton, GA 30724).
