Mrs. Joyce Ann Wooten, age 73 of Dalton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at her residence.

Joyce loved making ceramics as well as making flower arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Thomas.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence David Wooten of Dalton, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley David and Nita Wooten of Rocky Face, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Frankie of Poplar Bluff, MO, Pam and Jerry Gravitt of Hill City, GA, Sheila Buttram of Chatsworth, and Cindy and Buddy Spearman of Cohutta, GA; mother, Erma Sosebee Rommel of Dalton, GA; brother, Wendell Rommel of Poplar Bluff, MO; sisters and brother-in-law, Faith and Steve Ratzlaff of Wisconsin and Nell Marse of Colorado; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Joyce Ann Wooten will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Johnson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested the memorial donations be made to the ALS Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
