Mr. Johnny Russo, age 78 of Dalton, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Eloise Russo; mother, Naomi Bowen; great granddaughter, Keilee Foster; grandson, Jeremy Russo.

Survivors include his son, Kenny Russo of Chatsworth; daughters and son-in-law, Denise Anderson of Rossville, GA, Stephanie Woodruff of Cumming, GA, Lashanda and Brandon Mitchell of Rossville, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy Bowen of Chatsworth, Gary and Sonya Bowen of Chatsworth, Dale and Connie Bowen of Chatsworth, Pat Bowen of Chatsworth; sister, Teresa Johnson of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Eric Goble, Britney Howard, Brandon Whitmore, Crystal Ashcraft, Lindsey McCullough, Payton Russo; great grandchildren, Destiny Goble, Devonte Foster, Serenity Foster, Kobe Thomas, Anhdrea Jones, Amauri Howard, Azerion Howard, Kelsie Rogers, Corbin Ashcraft, Cambrigh Pettigrew, Gracie Goble; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Scott Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
