Jody Stephen Bowers

Mr. Jody Stephen Bowers, age 47, of Chatsworth, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at his home.

Jody was a member of Gethsemane Church in Dalton, GA. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan who loved reading, watching NASCAR, and, above all else, spending time with his daughter.

Survivors include his daughter, Quartlyn Nichole Bowers of Chatsworth; stepson, Xzavyer Brandon Winkler of Chatsworth; parents, Stephen Timothy Bowers (Joan) of Chatsworth and Bonnie Jo Bowers (Keith) of Blue Ridge, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tiffany Pankey (Evan) of Ellijay, GA, and Dee Sanford (Bruce) of Calhoun, GA; and special friends, Michael Carter and John Hackney. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and additional friends also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jody Stephen Bowers will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Deal and Rev. Bobby Bowers officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.

Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Jody Stephen Bowers.
