Mrs. Joann D. Moore, age 84 of Chatsworth, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Gordon Health and Rehabilitation.

Joann was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jack Moore; parents, Joe and Sylvia Burke; son, Larry Moore; five sisters; one brother.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Shelia and Chris Page, Marilyn and Kenneth Owens, and Jackie Melville; grandchildren Miranda Melville, Megan Melville, and Beth Owens; great-grandchildren, Greyson Smith, Skyler Smith, Kaiden Chambers, Brantley McCurter, and Liam Whaley.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Joann D. Moore will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Beason and Rev. Lamar Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
