Mr. Jennis Wayne Everette, age 83 of Chatsworth, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Quinton Memorial Health and Rehabilitation.

Jennis was a member of Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jennis Obie Everette; mother, Mildred Everette; sister, Dorothy Hamill; father-in-law, Earl Stafford; mother-in-law, Magdalene Stafford; brother-in-law, George Bryant.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Everette of Chatsworth; sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Everette of Chatsworth and Tony and Maxine Everette of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Johnny Cowart of Ringgold, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeannie and Tom Black of Charlotte, NC, Faye Everette of Greenville, NC, Lois Hamill of Falkland, NC, and Autry Hamill of Macclesfield, NC; grandchildren, T.J. Everette of Crandall, GA, Shelby Everette of Chatsworth, Bethany and Jeff Reese of Chattanooga, TN, Samuel Cowart of Ringgold, GA, and Wayne and Diana Johnson of Tunnel Hill, GA; great-grandchildren, Gage Everette, Kailyn and Matthew Johnson, and baby Reese due October of 2022; sister-in-law, Alicia Bryant; brother-in-law and spouse, Stanley and Gail Stafford.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jennis Wayne Everette will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Clark officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
