Mr. James (Jamie) McKay Parson, age 41, of Crandall passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

He was a member of Rock Bridge Community Church.

Jamie was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Barbara Ledford and Junior and Edith Parson, and stepfather, Roy Ellis.

Survivors include his daughter, Alexis Parson of Chatsworth; mother, Joyce Ellis of Chatsworth; father and stepmother, Ricky and Debbie Parson of Crandall; sister and brother-in-law, Maria and Carl Taylor of Chatsworth; stepsisters and brothers-in-law, Celestine and Mitchell Grant of Chatsworth and Lynette Ellis of Chatsworth; stepbrothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Amber Richards and Jagger and Sidney Childers; nephew, Asa Taylor; step-nieces and step-nephews, Ellison and Carter Grant, Joslyn Ellis, Rylen and Rennan Richards, and Jones and Jackson Childers; and aunts and uncles, Sheila DeVaughn, Eddy Parson, Ben Parson, and Joan Ross.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Jamie Parson will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 6:00 pm from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
