James Ed Clark

Mr. James Ed Clark, age 61, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Linda Sue Clark and James Cleo Clark; his brothers, James Griffith, Wayne Griffith, Keith Griffith, and Chucky Ray Clark; and his brother-in-law, J.E. Griggs.

Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Sheila Ann Clark of Dalton, GA; his children, Ashley Ann Clark (Anthony Higgins) of Dalton, GA, Aaron Keith Clark of Dalton, GA, and Anthony James Clark of Dalton, GA; his grandchildren, Lexus Cox of Dalton, GA and Preston James Clark of Chatsworth; his great-grandson, Jaxson Blackwell; his sister and brother-in-law, Jewel and Gary Hawkins of Dalton, GA; his sisters-in-law, Wanda Griggs of Dalton, GA and Georgia Griggs of Florida; his brothers-in-law, Hank Griggs of Dalton, GA and Grady Lee Griggs of Dalton, GA; and his special friend, Ronnie Cross; extended family also survives.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. James Ed Clark will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Spring Place Cemetery. Interment will follow.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
