Mr. J B Patterson age 79, of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his residence.

J B was a child of God and loved to go fishing.

Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence H. Patterson; mother, Wildy Hall Scoggins; son, Patrick Patterson; daughter, Hazel Welch; sisters, Wanda Giddens, Frankie Perry, Judy Smith, Mildred Giddens, and Robin Scoggins; brothers, John Patterson, H.L. Patterson, Howard Scoggins, Roger Scoggins, and Lawrence H. Patterson, Jr.

Survivors include best friends and care giver, Wanda Patterson of Chatsworth; daughters, Angelia Ghormley of Florida and Debbie Patterson of Chatsworth; brother, Daniel Scoggins of Georgia; sisters and brother-in-law, Johnnie Patterson of Cisco, Patricia and Charles Shelton of Cleveland, TN, and Sharon Smith of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Tiffany Burrage, Tina Nichols, Timothy Goodson, Kasi Barnette, Lacey Barnette, Justin Davenport, Derrick Bratcher, Sky Likes, Patricia Howard, Marshanda Bryant, and Nathaniel Owens; 23 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Patterson's wishes was to be cremated.
