Mr. Howard Pullen, age 81, of Chatsworth, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Vallie Pullen; sister, Rachel Stafford, Lucy Mantooth, Lorene Dunn, and Magdalene Cook; brothers, Gene Pullen, Floyd Pullen, and Thomas Pullen; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Bessie Pullen, Hazel Pullen, and Barney Gallman; spouse, Loretta Pullen.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Bagley and Randall Rackley, Sharon Newton and Jimmy Newton, and Vallarie Johnson and Jeff Johnson Jr.; brother, James Pullen of Crandall, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lou Gallman of Chatsworth, Minnie Ruth and Billy Ballew of Chatsworth, and Ann and Jerry Flood of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Steven Bagley, Melissa Lacy, Stewart Taylor, Corey Taylor, Ryan Pratt, Ethan Pratt, and Justin Hooker; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Stanfield, Jayce Stanfield, Kadence Bagley, Kaysen Bagley, Kayden Bagley, Kharma Taylor, Harmony Taylor, Josiah Taylor, and Elijah Taylor; great-great-grandchildren, Sawyer Pratt, Easton Crisp, and Addalyn Crisp; special family friends, Pam Reed and Larry York; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Howard Pullen will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairy Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
