Mrs. Helen Lowery Whaley, age 83, of Chatsworth, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Helen loved spending time with her loving family.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Veta Lowery; sisters, Ruth Page and Pat Hughes; brothers, Carl Lowery and Joe Lowery.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Darrell Whaley of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Todd Singleton of Chatsworth, Kristy and Darrell Osborne of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Cayla and Josh Hensley, Haley, Adara, Kain, Kaoss, Aisley, Havok, and Lyric; great grandchildren, Carter and Grayson Hensley, Marley, Cash, Crue, Luna, Karisma, Nyla, Lyla, and Motley; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Helen Lowery Whaley will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Payne and Rev. Curtis Ensley officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
