Mrs. Heidi Meribeth Holstein Hammond, age 44 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at AdventHealth Gordon.

Heidi was with the Murray County School System for over 20 years, she loved her son and his involvement in sports, and she loved her students and kept in touch with her former students. Heidi graduated from Marshall University in West Virginia. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Chatsworth. Her many friends cared deeply for Heidi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sean Michael Hammond; grandparents, Merritt and John Holstein, Elisabeth and Arnett Wiley.

Survivors include her son, Marshall Reagan Hammond; mother and step father, Barbara and Curtis Wilcox; aunt and uncle, Linda and Rodney Ford; mother-in-law, Linda Hammond; extended family of cousins also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Heidi Meribeth Holstein Hammond will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 3:00pm from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran and Rev. Tony Morgan officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her son Marshall's College Fund at the First National Community Bank 701 N 3rd Ave. Chatsworth, Georgia 30705.
