Mr. Harvey William Barnett, age 93 of Pittsburgh, PA passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Barnett was a proud US NAVY Veteran of WWII. He enjoyed woodworking, sports with his grandson and great-grandson, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, reading books, traveling, family, animals, puzzles, talking, and music. He was also a member of the Presbyterian faith.

Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Anna Barnett; father, Harvey French Barnett; mother, Melda Jean Barnett; sister, Stella Ann Barnett; brother, Louis Henry Barnett; sons-in-law, Ronald Schweitzer and William Thomas.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Allan Barnett (Cheryl) of Walkerton, Indiana, Scott William Barnett (Mary) of Murphy, North Carolina, and Jeff Michael Barnett (Karen) of Dunedin, Florida; daughters and son-in-law, Judith Ann Schweitzer of Portage, Indiana, Robin Lynn Thomas of Chatsworth, GA, and Lori Jean Fink (Larry) of Gibsonia, PA; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; his faithful dog, Maggie.

Cremation services have been provided by the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Amedisys Hospice (1422 Green Rd Suite F Dalton, GA, 30721), Alzheimer's Association (922 E Morris St. Dalton, GA, 30721), and the Humane Society of Murray County (12097 GA Hwy 225 N Crandall, GA, 30711).
