Mr. Glenn Edwin Lunsford, age 85, of Chatsworth, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at his home.

Edwin worked at the Fort Mountain Spinners for 31 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Opal (Rogers) and D.W. Lunsford; brothers, Arvil Lunsford, D.W. Lunsford Jr., and Grover Lunsford; 2nd wife, Marie (Posey) Lunsford; bonus son, Gary Kendrick; grandchildren, Miranda Upton and Daniel Clark, and Melissa Kendrick.

Survivors include his life partner, Linda Jones of Chatsworth; daughters and son-in-law, Tammie Kay Lunsford of Chatsworth and Gayle and Chuck Clark of Gastonia, NC; bonus sons and daughter-in-law, Glen Kendrick of Chatsworth and Chris and Stacy Jones of Canton, GA; sisters and sister-in-law, Nina Bowman of Rocky Face, GA, Doris Hammond of Roswell, GA, Jeanette Sluder of Chatsworth, and Nona Lunsford of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Joseph and Erika Upton of Chatsworth, Nicholas Lunsford of Chatsworth, Jennifer Clark of Charlotte, NC, Christopher and Alexandria Clark of Homer, AK, and Jacob Jones and Jaden Jones of Elijay, GA; great-grandchildren, Angel Quinton, James Quinton Jr., Breanna Upton, Christy Clark, Jaden Clemons, Mason Biers, and Charlie Clark; great great-grandchildren, Addie Mae Lunsford and Halle Biester.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Glenn Edwin Lunsford will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Clinton Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
