Mr. George "Buddy" Beavers, age 78, of Chatsworth passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Ralph Norman; mother, Ruby Jane Beavers; and brother, Donnie Ray Beavers.

Survivors include his loving wife, Alberta "Marie" Beavers; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Laura Beavers of Chatsworth, Kevin Beavers of Chatsworth, and Dan and Sharon Phillips of Charlotte, NC; daughters and son-in-law, Amanda Overton of Chatsworth and Angela and Jim Hunt of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Lynn and Damon Wilbanks of Chatsworth and Genevelyn Hope of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Daniel, Dylan, Corey, Dustin, Ava, Eric, Zachary, Lance, Katelynn, Kaiden, Ciara, and special buddy, Maddox; and extended family.

The family gives special thanks to Dr. Polow, Regency Southern Care Hospice, and his awesome nurse, Elizabeth Misskelley.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. from Cool Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Chatsworth American Legion Post 167.

The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
