Geneva Sue King, age 84, of Chatsworth passed away on Saturday , September 28, 2024, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Chatsworth, GA

Geneva's smile, giggles and laugher will be forever remembered in our hearts. She loved working in the yard and riding her zero-turn mower. She was always up early busy letting nothing slow her down. She was a long time employee of Fort Mountain Spinners, helped run JaSue Tufting and then later worked at Agape Christian Bookstore.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, James Thomas King Sr.; son, Steven McKinley King; grand daughter, Jessica Sue Jackson; parents, Robert Newton and Bonnie West Chambers; sisters, Juanita Chambers and Robbie Jane Metz.

Survived by her beloved children, Brenda Jackson Varnell and JT Guinn, James T. King Jr. of Chatsworth, GA; devoted sisters, Bernita Taylor of Orange Park, FL; June and Tommy Hughes of Lauderdale, MS; cherished grandchildren, James Wesley Jackson, Joshua Michael Varnell, Mason Henry Varnell, Chloe LaShea King, and Sadee Marie King;  loving significant other, Billy Wright and a host of adored nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life memorial service for Geneva Sue King will be held on  Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 11:00 am from Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Smith and Billy Brown officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.

Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth has been entrusted with the arrangements for Geneva Sue King.
