Gary Alan "Chip" Chambers, age 59, of Chatsworth passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Chip was preceded in death by his father, Paul Chambers; brother, Brian Chambers; grandchild, Shelbey Spurlock; and great-grandchild, Willow Guthrie.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Chambers; son, William Chambers of Chatsworth; daughters, Shasta Chambers of Dalton, Gabbie Chambers of Dalton, Gesila Webster of Apopka, FL, and Angie Cottrell of Dalton; mother, Rose Chambers of Lexington, SC; sisters, Bonnie Haskell of Pensacola, FL, Kathy Arckey of Lexington, SC, Paula Wentsel of Glen Allen, VA, Cindy Smith of Willow Springs, SC, and Marcia Chambers of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Lainie Spurlock, Hailee Spurlock, Sidney Spurlock, Gabe Spurlock, Kyle Jones, Timothy Howard, Brandon Howard, Makayla Howard, Ashton Howard, Seth Chambers, Gracey Chambers, Samantha Chambers, and Rory Chambers; great-grandchildren, Swayzee Barger, Olivia Hamilton, Copelynn Spurlock, and Meadow Guthrie; and sister-in-law, Heidi Davis.

Funeral services for Chip will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 23, 2021, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
