Mrs. Freida Lynn Travis, age 67, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Dalton Square.

Freida was a member of the Church of God of Union Assembly in Chatsworth, GA. She loved fishing, cooking, canning, and gardening. Freida was a very outdoorsy person.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Elbert Travis; father, Fred "Buster" Jones; mother, Marie Jones; son, Michael Travis.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Betty Travis of Chatsworth, GA and Steve Travis of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren, Michael Travis, Chris and Nicole Patterson, Alexandria and Daniel Collins, and Missy and Michael Hans; great-grandchildren, Trinity, Truly, Ansley, Levi, Jasper, and Evan; great great-grandchild, Grey.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Freida Lynn Travis will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Rocky Green officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
