Mrs. Frankie Annette Ballew, age 82, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Lilly Mae Rhodes; son, John Ballew; and her brothers, Ralph Rhodes and Earl Rhodes.

Survivors include her loving husband, Verlon Ballew; son, Gary Ballew; grandchildren, Courtney Moore, Alexa Ballew, Alana Ballew, Evan Moore, Gracie Moore, and Bailey Holland; great-grandchildren, Chloe Pacheco, Arianna Moore, Corben Moore, and Fauna Roark; and her special cousin, who was more like a chosen sister, Brenda Sanford.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Frankie Annette Ballew will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairy Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
