Elvin D. Dunn, age 89, of Chatsworth passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Chatsworth Health Care.

He was a member of Lifegate Church in Dalton.

Elvin was preceded in death by his wife, Neva Dunn; daughter, Debra Dunn; and sons, Michael and James "Butch" Dunn.

Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Gaye Dunn of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Pam and Lee Harris; Jamie and Tesha Dunn, Michael and Tina Dunn, Stephanie and Anthony Brown, and Bridgett Plemons; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Meghan Cantrell, Kierston Keefer, Kimberly Keefer, Katlynn Keefer, Lindsey and Tielor Johnson, Trevor Brown, Madison Brown, Cody Dunn, Jordan Dunn, and Brock Dunn; and great-great-grandchild, Greyson Cantrell.

Funeral services for Mr. Dunn will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 10, 2022, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Smith officiating. Interment will follow at United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Flowers will be welcome, but, alternatively, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
