Eleanora "Nora" Gonzalez, age 80, of Chatsworth passed away at Wood Dale Health and Rehabilitation in Dalton.

She was a member of Homeland Baptist Church.

Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Elio Gonzalez; parents, Frankie and Martin Van Heard; sister, Wilhemena Heard Miller; and brother, Martin Heard Jr.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Heath and Liz Finney of Tunnel Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Tony Crider of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Ashley Kilgore, Kassie Ayers, Harley Finney, Raymond Finney, and Toni Crider; and great-grandchildren, Haven Kilgore, Hannah Kilgore, Kason Finney, Kaleigh Finney, and Scarlett Ayers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gonzalez will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 15, 2021, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
