Mr. Eldon Randolph Gutshall Jr "Randy Black", age 60, passed away at his home in Chatsworth, Ga.

Randy's passion was entertaining listeners on the radio, with over 40 years of radio DJ experience at stations across Chattanooga and North Georgia, including KZ106, WOWE US101, Rock 105, WDOD 96.5, WDXB, WNOO and many more. He enjoyed live music and was recognized everywhere he went with all the friends and fans he has impacted over the years. Randy was a member of the Baptist faith and loved to share his love for Jesus. He cared for his mother, Yvonne, in her final years during her battle with Alzheimer's. Randy's heart for all animals knew no bounds and he always made sure to protect any animals in any situation. He was a loving father and grandfather, always putting his family first. He will forever be remembered as someone with an enormous heart, who was incredibly kind and gracious.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Duncan; mother, Yvonne King and stepfathers, Pat King; grandmother and grandfather, Marjorie and T.P. Wright.

Survivors include his son, Grady Gutshall (Margarita) of East Ridge, TN; daughter, Jessica Wales of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren, Skyler and Ethan Lyons, Abigaile Davis (John Harris), Maria, Noah, and Victoria Gutshall; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Harris; sister, Debbie Feagin; father, Eldon Randolph Gutshall Sr.; Nephew, P.J. Duncan; Nieces, Sabrina Dingler and Desiree Peden (Daniel); step-brother, Lloyd King (Carol); 5 cats and 2 dogs.

There will be a grave-site service at Chatsworth Heights Cemetery on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 12:00 PM.

There will be a celebration of life service at Action Church in East Ridge, TN on Sunday December 1, 2024 at 3:00 PM.

The family will receive friends at Action Church on Sunday December 1, 2024 immediately following the service.
