Ms. Edith C. Stephens, age 70 of Chatsworth, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at AdventHealth Murray.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Wanda Ash; brothers, Little Paul Ash Jr, Michael Ash, and Billy Ash; sister, Wanda Ash.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Sherry Boren of Chatsworth; daughter, Tammy Stephens of Chatsworth; sister, Judy Ash of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Hayden Calhoun, Austin Stephens, Adam Stephens, Harvey Calhoun, Angela McWhorter, Lamar McWhorter, Byron McWhorter, Chris McWhorter, and Kayla Pack; great-grandchildren, Daven McWhorter and Bella McWhorter.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ms. Edith C. Stephens will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Patterson and Rev. Ronnie Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Sumach Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
