Mr. David Elliott Hipp, age 70 of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Hospice of Chattanooga.

Mr. Hipp was a member of the Eton Lodge #509, Scottish Rite, Yaarab Shrine Club of Atlanta, and the Dalton Shrine Club. He enjoyed time spent with his children, grandchildren, and watching Alabama football on Saturdays.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.H. and Margaret Kinnamon Hipp.

Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Carmon Beavers Hipp of Chatsworth, GA; son, Colby Lee Hipp of Chatsworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley Hipp Stafford and Greg Stafford of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Sheryl Hipp of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Ryan Parker (RP) Stafford and Jaxon Reid Stafford; extended family including nieces also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. David Elliot Hipp will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chatsworth Heights Cemetery. Burial rites will be provided by the Eton Masonic Lodge #509 F&AM.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Along with flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or Children's Scottish Rite Hospital.
