Dana Ann Adams, of Dalton, GA passed away to meet the Lord on November 13, 2024 at the age of 53.

Dana was born on April 2, 1971 to Edward and Ruby Dean. She grew up in Adairsville, Georgia and always ran around her neighborhood with her siblings and many cousins.  Dana was passionate about nature, animals, and music. She proudly called herself a "country girl" and found peace visiting the mountains. Dana was always ready for an adventure. Her passion for music led her to become a saxophone player in her high school marching band. As an adult, you could reliably find her wherever there was a good live band.

She was a doting mother, not just to her children, but to any child she met. She worked at various daycares and as paraprofessional in the Murray County School System.  Her kindness, patience and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. Later in life, she continued to make lifelong friends and become a second mom to many in the workplace, including at her final job as a quality control specialist with Shaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruby Dean, her boyfriend George Rogers, her nephew Daniel Head, and her great nephew Kolton Nichols.

Dana is survived by her son Brandon Adams and daughter Kristin Adams; brother Kenny Dean, and sister Susan Head (William); nieces Kayla Duckworth (Blake), Andrea McGraw (William), Aimee Dean, and Latasha LaBove (Logan); and several beloved cousins, great-nieces and nephews, many friends, and her dog Kate.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Dana Ann Adams will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Bearden officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
