Mr. Damon Wilbanks, age 90, of Chatsworth, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Damon was a member of Holly Creek Baptist church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. We miss his wit and wisdom.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Martha Lyndell Wilbanks; his parents, Arnold and Opal Wilbanks; and his great-grandson, Ezekiel James Beck.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Stacey Wilbanks of Jefferson, GA; daughter, Kimberly Rene Wilbanks of Powder Springs, GA; grandchildren, Jarrett and Meredith Wilbanks, Clayton Wilbanks, and Hannah and Jerod Beck; great-grandchildren, Collin Wilbanks, Cameron Wilbanks, Emmalynn Beck, Elliott Beck, and Emery Rose Beck; sister-in-law, Genevelyn Hope; and extended family also survives.

Cremation services were provided by Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory.

A graveside celebration of life for Damon and Lynn will be held on October 17, 2025 at 11:00am from Cool Springs Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
