Connie Taylor

Mrs. Connie Taylor, age 74, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Connie worked for more than 30 years at Caradon Yarn Mill and was a faithful member of Anchor Holds Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, sewing, and cooking for her family. She was a kind and caring soul who never met a stranger and always tried to leave things better than she found them. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hansel Taylor; her parents, Jack and Minnie Jo Waters; and her brothers, Jack Waters, Roddy Waters, and Christopher Waters.

Survivors include her son, Steven Thomas of Cisco, GA; her daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer and Tim Massaro of Blue Ridge, GA and Laura Thomas of Dalton, GA; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Regena and Larry Thomas of Chatsworth, and Mary Nell Thomas and Lamarr Thomas of Chatsworth; her sister-in-law, Janice Waters of Chatsworth; her grandchildren, Justin Angel, Devon Stone, Jake Wehunt, Nicholas Thomas, Nathan Weir, Ashleigh Thomas, Matthew Bryson, Ethan Bryson, and Jaxen Thomas; her great-grandchildren, Lola Stone, Khloie Thomas, Syler Stone, Ollie Bryson, Dalton Thomas, and Oakley Thomas; and her special friend, Kathy Branam; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Connie Taylor will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Anchor Holds Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Connie (3090 GA-286, Chatsworth, GA 30705).
