Mr. Charles "Junior" Reed, age 70 of Chatsworth, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at his home.

Junior loved to garden, hunt, and eat ice cream.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Vernie Reed; children, Stephanie Fritts and Tim Reed; step-father, William Thurman.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Reed of Chatsworth; daughter, Tenna Reed of Chatsworth; brothers and sister-in-law, Ricky and Mitzi Reed of Chatsworth and Joe Reed of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Terry O'Bryant of Chatsworth and Felicia and Robert Winkler of Chatsworth; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Geraldine and Charles Pierce of Chatsworth and Jean and Tommy Defore of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Kiersten and Jayden Fritts; aunt, Marie Reed; many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Charles "Junior" Reed will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Rymer officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In addition to flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Sassy's Hope (P.O. Box 792 Dalton, GA 30722).
