Carol Hardin

Mrs. Carol Hardin, age 73, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Carol was a member of Central Community Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and her church. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hardin; her daughter, Jill Vineyard; her son, Eric Hardin; her grandchildren, Seth Vineyard and Andrew "Andy" Hardin; her parents, Floyd and Mae Woods; and her brothers, Bill Woods and Pete Woods.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Alice Oliver Hardin of Dalton, GA; her sister, Anna Lee Young of Dalton, GA; her sister-in-law, Ruth Woods; and her granddaughter, Brooklynn Hardin; many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Carol Hardin will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Bishop Edwin Puckett officiating. Interment will follow at United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
