Ms. Brenda Joyce Shields Reed, age 73, of Chatsworth passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reathel Ashe Owens and Rev. Robert Owens and Calvin Shields; a sister Barbara Owens James.

Survivors include son, Ronnie Wimpey of Chatsworth; daughter, Mistie Rena Walden of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Robert Mashburn of Chatsworth; granddaughters, Lacy Wimpey Adkins and Katie Wimpey both of Dalton; two great-grandchildren; aunts and uncle, Betty Sue and Spud Bingham of Chatsworth and Patsy Ashe of Cisco.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ms. Reed will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Sumach Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 7 ^th from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
