Brenda Joyce Gamblin was eternally healed on Monday, November 8, 2021.

Like her Savior, Jesus Christ, she had a servant's heart that she shared with the community through public service for over 30 years.

Her passion for youth extended through the nursery at Crosspointe into foster care for over 47 needy youth.

Her lifelong enjoyment of softball and her beloved Georgia Dawgs were her sweet spot.

Brenda has joined her father, Ernest Frank Lewallen; mom, Juanita Helton Lewallen; and favorite uncle, Leon Helton.

She is survived by Tony Gamblin; Joseph Ross Gamblin; Rebecca Jewell Gamblin; future grandson, James W.W. Gamblin; Dewayne F. Lewallen; and Donnie F. Lewallen.

Survivors also include her special mentor/confidante, Shirley Faith Davenport; aunts; niece; and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at Crosspointe on December 12, 2021. The family receiving line begins at 6:00 pm. The celebration service will follow shortly thereafter.
