Mr. Billy Edker Teasley, age 92, of the Dawnville Community passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tennie "Marcell" Teasley; parents, Fred and Sadie Teasley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Irene Jones; grandsons, Andy Reed and Nathan Mosley Teasley; brothers, Jim Teasley and Gerald Teasley; brothers-in-law, Cleaston Curtis, J.D. Stanley, and Roy Orr; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Louise and James Sane.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Terri Teasley of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Mac McGinnis of Dalton; sisters, Marie Stanley of Dalton and Dorris Orr of Texas; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Junior and Stella Jones of Chatsworth, Tommy and Elaine Jones of Chatsworth, Betty and Arvin Bishop of Chatsworth, and Jean Curtis of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Kerri Reed Shirley, Jordan and Michael Keener, Ashton and Justin Francis, Hunter and Jordan Teasley, Tyler Henry, Kristina Reed Langford, and Jess Langford; great-grandchildren, Ben Mosley, Gracie and Grant Ogle, Emma Reed, AnLeigh Shirley, Lexi Perry, Brayleigh Francis, Trinity Long, Wyatt Langford, Grant Francis, Kainen Francis, Michaelynn Keener, Dakota Keener, and Sean Keener; great-great-grandchildren, Memphis Mosley and Nolynn Ogle; caregiver, Michele Shafer; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Teasley will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Miles officiating. Interment will follow in the Teasley Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the funeral begins at 2:00 pm.
