Mrs. Betty Brown, age 79, of Chatsworth, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 at her sister, Carolyn Ridley's home.

Betty was a member of Spring Place Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, James Lamar Brown; mother, Lena Lewis; father, Roy Lewis; sisters, Edith Pierce and Evelyn Young; mother-in-law, Kathleen Brown; 5 brothers-in-law; 1 nephew.

Survivors include her daughter, Anita Brown Grant; sisters, Carolyn Ridley, Dot Trew, and Sara Sutton; grandchildren, Lyndsey and Tanner Raby, Gracie Grant, and Jon-Michael and Kelsea Grant; great-grandchildren, Kate Grant, Ella James Raby, and Tegan Grant; 2 sisters-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law; 3 nieces; 6 nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Brown will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Smith and Rev. Andrew Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope-Kilgore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
