Mrs. Barbara Ann Alley, age 74 of Chatsworth, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Ridgewood Manor Health and Rehabilitation.

Barbara was a member of Pathway Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, David Lee Alley Sr.; father, Vernie Plemmons; mother, Maggie Plemmons; brother, Tommy Plemmons; sister, Mary Plemmons.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David Lee Alley Jr. and Lynn Alley of Dalton, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Lee Jones of Resaca, GA and Shannon M. and Mark Smith of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren, Vanessa Manis, Scarlett Weeks, Keisha Hamilton, Amber Majors, Josh Smith, Holden Smith, and Destiny Alley; great-grandchildren, Blake Walden, Noah Walden, Levi Majors, and Kinsley Majors; and lifelong friend, JoAnn Fox.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Barbara Ann Alley will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Smith and Rev. Holden Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Parkers Gap Cemetery.

She will lie in state at the church on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
