Mrs. Althea Geneva Walraven, age 87 of Chatsworth, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Decatur and Ora Dell Parker; brothers, Luke, Lloyd, and Carl Parker; sisters, Laura Wyatt, Betty Walraven, Virginia Dixon, Debbie Parker, and Rita Parker; son-in-law, Jimmy Rogers.

Survivors include her husband, Oliver Walraven of Chatsworth; daughters and son-in-law, Geneva Taylor of Chatsworth, Cathy Rogers of Chatsworth, and Carol and Timmy Rymer of Chatsworth; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Betty Parker of Chatsworth; grandchildren, John and Jessica, Amy, Jody, Heath and Tabitha, Justin and Tracie, Tiffany and Zack, Keith and Lyndsey, Tyler and Jesse, and Jessica and Stephen; 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Althea Geneva Walraven will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Edwards and Rev. Eddie Kerr officiating Interment will follow at Hopewell Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
